A veteran assigned to extract Earth's remaining resources begins to question what he knows about his mission and himself.

Jack Harper: How can man die better: than facing fearful odds, for the ashes of his fathers, and the temples of his Gods.
Sally: I created you, Jack. I am your god.
Jack Harper: Fuck you, Sally.
Jack Harper: If we have souls, they are made of the love we share... undimmed by time and bound by death.
Jack Harper: What Horatius said was, "How can a man die better / Than facing fearful odds"
Sykes: Drones! Get inside! Get inside!
Jack Harper: "For the ashes of his fathers / And the temples of his Gods"
Sally: I created you, Jack. I am your God.
Jack Harper: Fuck you, Sally.
Jack Harper: How can a man die better...
Sally: You don't have to die, Jack. She doesn't have to die.
Jack Harper: Everybody dies, Sally. The thing is, to die well.
Jack Harper: I wonder, if I come to you, at night - in dreams, in the day - as memories. Do I haunt your hours the way you haunted mine? And I wonder if you see me, when you look at her.

Jack Harper: Is it possible to miss a place you've never been? To mourn a time you never lived?
Julia: Are we gonna die?
Jack Harper: No!... Maybe!
Jack Harper: Dream of us.
Jack Harper: For three years I searched for the house he built. I knew it had to be out there. Because I know him. I am him. I am Jack Harper, and I'm home.
Jack Harper: I can't shake the feeling, that earth, inspite of all that's happened, earth is still my home.
[first lines]
Jack Harper: Earth, before the war. New York, before I was born. A place I've only seen pictures of. I know you... But we've never met. I'm with you... But I don't know your name. I know I'm dreaming. But it feels like more than that. It feels like a memory. How can that be?
Julia: [plays "A Whiter Shade of Pale" by Procol Harum] You always loved this song.
Jack Harper: I'm not him. I know I'm not. But I've loved you... for as long as I can remember. I don't know how else to say it.
Julia: You know what you said to me once? You said when it was all over, you would build me a house on a lake. We would grow old and fat together. And we would fight. Maybe drink too much.
Jack Harper: Real romantic.
Julia: And then we would die and be buried in s meadow by the lake. And the world would forget about us. But we would always have each other.
Jack Harper: I remember.
Julia: Those memories are yours, Jack. They're ours. They are you.
Malcolm Beech: That is one pissed off weapon.
Jack Harper: No, it's just a machine. I'm the weapon.
Malcolm Beech: Oh, I would love to be there to see that things' face when this goes off.
Jack Harper: Then it'd be a one way trip.
Malcolm Beech: Yeah! But it'd be worth it.
Jack Harper: If we have souls, they're made of the love we share. Undimmed by time, unbound by death.
Malcolm Beech: You had me worried for a second. I thought you weren't coming back.
Jack Harper: Well, I had to prove him wrong.
Malcolm Beech: You look like shit.
Jack Harper: Oh, you should see the other guy.
Malcolm Beech: If I'd told you what you'd find out there, you would've thought I was crazy.
Jack Harper: Oh, I still do.
Jack Harper: Oh no, come on, not my goddamn bike!
Jack Harper: I know you, but we've never met. I'm with you and I don't know your name. I know I'm dreaming, but it feels like more than that. It feels like a memory. How can that be?
[from trailer]
Jack Harper: [in ruins of stadium] The last Super Bowl was played right here.
Victoria: Please don't tell me it was a classic.
Jack Harper: Classic game. 80,000 people on their feet. Seconds left on the clock. So QB throws a Hail Mary. Touchdown!
Julia: I don't know what happened. But you are not who you think you are. Jack, we were here. You asked me to meet you and brought me up on top of the world. I could tell you were nervous that day. It was right here, Jack. You said: Look through here...
Julia, Jack Harper: [together] ... and I'll show you the future.
Sally: Are you an effective team?
Jack Harper: Who are you? What aren't you telling me?
Julia: Jack, I...
Jack Harper: What were you doing on the Odyssey? What was your mission?
Julia: It was a research flight to Titan. My first. That's what it was supposed to be. Six weeks to launch, deep space scanners picked up an alien object. We were reassigned to investigate. They put us all in delta. They must have woken you and Victoria first.
Jack Harper: What?
Julia: That object was the Tet, Jack. The Tet was our mission.
Sally: There's been a pattern of insubordinate behavior recently.
Jack Harper: Yeah. I feel bad about that.
[last lines]
Julia's Child, Julia's Child: Who's that?
Jack Harper: [voiceover] I am Jack Harper. And I am home.
[from trailer]
Malcolm Beech: I've been watching you, Jack. You're curious. What are you looking for in those books? Do they bring back old memories? Don't ask too many questions. They lied to you. It's time to learn the truth.
Julia: Are we gonna die?
Jack Harper: No!
[They enter the radiation zone]
Jack Harper: Maybe!
Victoria: Mission, this is Tower 49.
Sally: Go ahead, 49.
Jack Harper: No.
Victoria: I'm having a problem with my technician.
Jack Harper: No, you don't know what you're doing.
Victoria: He found a survivor at the crash site.
Jack Harper: You've gotta listen to me.
Victoria: She's impeding his abilities, and he is unfit for service.
Jack Harper: No, no, no.
Sally: I'm sorry to hear that, Vika. Are you still an effective team?
Jack Harper: Vika... Open the goddamn door, Vika!
Victoria: No. We are not an effective team.
Jack Harper: The questions I ask - she doesn't, the things I wonder about - she won't.
Jack Harper: Buck up, Bob. Don't go all shaky on me.
[from trailer]
Jack Harper: 60 years ago, Earth was attacked. We won the war, but they destroyed half the planet. Everyone's been evacuated. Nothing human remains. We're here for drone repair. We're the "mop-up crew".
Sally: Hi, Jack. I don't believe we've had the pleasure.
Jack Harper: What have you done?
Sally: You can't blame yourself for this. Drones are unreliable. Sometimes things go wrong.
Jack Harper: Go wrong? You killed her.
Sally: I know, it's tragic. She was a wonderful person.
[from trailer]
Jack Harper: I want mankind to survive. This is the only way.
[from trailer]
Julia: [awakes] Jack?
[from trailer]
Jack Harper: [to Julia] What aren't you telling me? WHO ARE YOU?
Victoria: Be careful out there.
Jack Harper: I always am.
Victoria: No you're not.
Jack Harper: You're right. I gotta work on that.
Julia: How long have I been out there?
Jack Harper: At least sixty years.
Jack Harper: Morning, Bob.
Malcolm Beech: Welcome back, Commander.
Jack Harper: Morning, boss.
Sally: Tower 49, this is mission control. How are you all doing this lovely morning?
Victoria: Another day in paradise, Sally. Uploading data now.
Malcolm Beech: Tell me. Have you ever met a scav up close? Of course not. You just repair drones. Don't go into the radiation zone. Don't ask too many questions. Not part of the job description.
Sykes: We're wasting our time. The drone will track him here.
Malcolm Beech: That's Sergeant Sykes. He thinks I'm a fool for having brought you here. I hope you prove him wrong.
[from trailer]
Malcolm Beech: [to Jack] If you're looking for the truth, that's where you'll find it.
Malcolm Beech: I would love to be there to see that thing's face when this goes off.
Jack Harper: That would be a one-way trip.
Malcolm Beech: Yeah, but it would be worth it.
Sally: Vika, are you okay? Everything good between you two?
Victoria: Of course.
Sally: You're still an effective team?
Victoria: We're great. Never better.
Sally: Voice analysis indicates you are lying to me, Jack. Tell me why you are here. You have five seconds.
Jack Harper: I want Julia to live. I want our species to survive. This is the only way.
Sally: Proceed to landing. Atmosphere provided.
Jack Harper: Vica, do you have any memories? Before the mission. Before the memory wipe.
Victoria: Our job is not to remember... remember?
[from trailer]
Jack Harper: [readying his futuristic aircraft] This is Jack Harper. I'm good to go.
Jack Harper: You gonna miss me? I'm gonna miss this place. It would have been great. Would have been great.
[from trailer]
Victoria: Only two more weeks, Jack, and we can finally leave and join the others. Please, don't take any chances...
