As long as I do a good job, I believe the future is going to take care of itself, but actually I like very much being in elected office and there is no consideration about doing anything different until I can be assured that we are going to have the best voting systems in the country.
Certainly I had my preference, and I very much hoped that George W. Bush would be our next president.
If you're not electing Christians, then in essence you are going to legislate sin.
We're not going to pay attention to the silliness and the petty comments. And quite frankly, women have joined me in this effort, and so it's not about appearances. It's about effectiveness.
We have to have the faithful in government.
