A spaceship arrives in Arizona, 1873, to take over the Earth, starting with the Wild West region. A posse of cowboys and natives are all that stand in their way.

Jake Lonergan: I've been shot.
Meacham: Only two kinds of men get shot: criminals and victims. Which one are you?
Jake Lonergan: I don't know.
Meacham: You got a name, friend?
Jake Lonergan: I don't know that either.
Meacham: Just what do you know?
Jake Lonergan: English.
Meacham: [teaching Doc how to shoot a rifle] Don't yank on it, it's not your pecker.
Ella: If it's all the same, I'd like to ride along, too.
Meacham: Yes, ma'am. Got a kid and a dog, why not a woman?
Doc: [referring to Meacham's grave] Wait. Aren't we gonna say some words over him?
Woodrow Dolarhyde: Only one who knows what to say is in the ground. Ain't it enough we took the time to put him there?
Ella: I told you not to look into the light.
Jake Lonergan: Yeah, right.
Doc: I don't know much about boats, but I'd say that one's upside down.
Woodrow Dolarhyde: What are you all choked up about?
Emmett Taggart: I'm worried about my grandpa.
Woodrow Dolarhyde: Look. When I was just a little bit older than you are now, all this was Mexico. Word came that the Apaches was riding towards a settlement called Arivaca. My father wanted me to be a man, so made me ride out with the garrison, banging on a drum. Boy, was I scared. Well, we got there, it was too late. They were all dead and the whole place was burnt down. This settler fella came crawling out of a burning cabin. He was bad. He knew he was gonna die. Burnt bad. He rolled over, looked up into my eyes, and he said "Kill me."
Emmett Taggart: What did you do?
[takes the knife from Emmett's belt buckle]
Woodrow Dolarhyde: I took this knife off his belt and I slit his throat. Take it.
[Emmett takes the knife back]
Woodrow Dolarhyde: Be a man.
Doc: It's my fault she got took. I never should have taken her to that town.
Meacham: No, no, no. Not your fault. You'll get her back. You're setting things right. Just got to have faith. That's all.
Doc: Faith. Yeah. God's been real swell to me. I don't mean no disrespect, preacher, but either he ain't up there or he don't like me very much.
Meacham: Surely you don't expect the Lord to do everything for you, do you, Doc? You got to earn His presence. Then you got to recognize it and then you have to act on it.
Meacham: Whether you end up in Heaven or Hell isn't God's plan, it's your own. You just have to remember what it is.
Woodrow Dolarhyde: Get off my plains!
Pat Dolan: So, I'm gonna ask you one last time. Where is it, Jake?
Jake Lonergan: Demons.
Pat Dolan: What's that?
Jake Lonergan: Demons took your gold. When you get to hell, you can ask for it back.
Woodrow Dolarhyde: Run these ledgers back to the bank for me, will you? Tell them I need some new checks.
Percy Dolarhyde: Okay.
Woodrow Dolarhyde: I want the new ones to read "Dolarhyde and Son." That sound good to you?
Percy Dolarhyde: Yes. Yes, sir.
[sees a spaceship for the first time]
Woodrow Dolarhyde: What the hell?
[first lines]
Wes Claiborne: [to Jake] We're riding towards Absolution. You know how far west we are?
[Jake doesn't answer]
Mose Claiborne: Maybe he's a dummy.
Wes Claiborne: Is there a reason you're not answering my question?
Mose Claiborne: Look here, Pa. He's got iron on his wrist. He's been shot. Could be done broke out of hoosegow. Might be worth bounty.
Wes Claiborne: Might could be.
Jake Lonergan: Is there something you know about me, lady?
Ella: You don't remember anything?
Jake Lonergan: What do you want?
Ella: I know you're looking for something. So am I.
Jake Lonergan: Well, good luck to you.
Woodrow Dolarhyde: You weren't gonna leave without saying goodbye, were you?
Jake Lonergan: I'm a wanted man.
Woodrow Dolarhyde: I could have sworn I saw Jake Lonergan die in those caves, didn't you, Sheriff?
Sheriff John Taggart: Damn shame. I was looking forward to hanging him myself.
Jake Lonergan: [to Woodrow] You ready to get your son back
Percy Dolarhyde: [to Jake] You're in trouble now. You're gonna burn. My pa is coming for me. He learned how to kill a man good and slow in the war. I am going to watch you suffer for a long, long, long time. You thought that cheap shot in the pecker hurt?
[Jake grabs hold of Percy through the cell bars and smacks his head hard against them]
Woodrow Dolarhyde: [shouts while turning his horse around] They're coming back! They're coming back!
Nat Colorado: I always dreamed of riding into battle with you.
Woodrow Dolarhyde: I always dreamed of having a son like you.
[Doc and Jake standing over Meachum's grave to say something about him]
Doc: [gestures to Jake]
Jake Lonergan: You go ahead.
Doc: Uh... Lord... If there is such a thing as a soul, this man had a good one. Please protect it. Made me feel better. World was a better place for having him. Dust to dust, amen. How was that?
Jake Lonergan: Good words.
[after they jumped off one the alien ships and into the lake]
Jake Lonergan: We were flying.
Ella: Yeah.
Jake Lonergan: I don't want to do that again.
Ella: No.
Woodrow Dolarhyde: [referring to Jake] That's the son of a bitch that stole my gold off the bullion coach. I want that man.
Sheriff John Taggart: You're gonna have to take it up with the judge in Santa Fe.
Woodrow Dolarhyde: I ain't going to Santa Fe. You give him to me now or I'm gonna take him.
