After a freak accident, an invisible yuppie runs for his life from a treacherous CIA official while trying to cope with his new life.

Morrissey: [reading Nick's record] Never been married, parents both deceased... the guy's got a few friends, but not real close to any of them. Not exactly a workaholic, either. He kind of plays it fast and loose.
David Jenkins: I've dealt with people like this before. No close personal ties, no strong political beliefs, no particular interests... in fact, when you think about it, the man has the perfect profile. He was invisible *before* he was invisible.
Nick Halloway: [invisible] You know something, Alice?
Alice Monroe: What?
Nick Halloway: If you were blind, we'd make the perfect couple.
Nick Halloway: Now you listen to me, you son of a bitch. I've lost everything but my soul, and you're not going to take that away from me.
David Jenkins: Perhaps a small reminder of the state of things is in order. I'm the one who kills people, Warren, not you. And if you screw up with me, I will cut off your testicles, I will lightly fry them, and Morrissey here...
[indicates Morrissey]
David Jenkins: Will have them for lunch.
[Nick is invisible]
Alice Monroe: How am I going to explain this to my mother?
Nick Halloway: Just tell her that you met someone, you really like him, you think it's serious, he's transparent...
[last lines]
David Jenkins: Son of a bitch
Nick Halloway: I want my molecules back!
David Jenkins: You found your calling Nick.
David Jenkins: I often sit in the dark wondering what it must've been like, were you conscious? Did you feel any pain? Did you feel yourself changing?
[to Nick who has become invisible]
David Jenkins: It's lonely, isn't it, when you're a freak?
Dr. Bernard Wachs: Why are you doing this to me? All I know is that he exists.
David Jenkins: And that's already too much.
Nick Halloway: [narrating] I was a fugitive, afraid of getting caught. I kept imagining Jenkins leaping out at me from every dark corner. As a child, I would dream about being invisible. I thought it would be so easy. I could do what I want, go where I want and take what I want. But that's the catch. No matter how hungry I was, I couldn't give myself away.
[sucking on her finger]
Alice Monroe: There's really only a few places in the Amazon that could still be considered virgin.
