A photographer, Leon's obsessive pursuit of dark subject matter leads him into the path of a serial killer, Mahogany, the subway murderer who stalks late night commuters, ultimately butchering them in the most gruesome ways imaginable.

Mahogany: Welcome.
Leon Kauffman: She didn't like my work.
Jurgis: She gave you three minutes. People whose work she doesn't like, she usually gives one.
Leon Kauffman: I just didn't imagine that you would be the kind of person to say "whoa".
Susan Hoff: I'm not. I don't. I haven't said it since high school.
Leon Kauffman: I've got a train to catch.
Driver: I envy you.
[passing by Mahogany, who is sitting in the train with his bag on his knees]
Guardian Angel: Life is like a box of chocolates!
Driver: [pointing a gun at Sac] Step away from the meat.
