An aging thief hopes to retire and live off his ill-gotten wealth when a young kid convinces him into doing one last heist.

Nick: When was it you started thinking you were better than me?
Nick Wells: Nice working with you, ace. Okay, bye-bye.
[in park after gun threat]
Jackie Teller: Why'd you bring a gun here? What were you thinking? There are kids here.
Nick: Have you lost your fucking mind?
Max: Yes, years ago!
Nick Wells: [to Jack] You want my advice? Make a list of everything you want now and spend the next twenty five years getting it, slowly, piece by piece.
Nick: How can I be sure you're okay?
Diane: I suppose I could fuck you.
Nick: That would work.
[Danny has just found Brian, or really Jack]
Jackie Teller: Make a move, make a sound and you're dead. Understand me?
Danny: [nods in shock]
Jackie Teller: Turn around.
Danny: [does and is shocked] Brian?
Jackie Teller: Shh! Be quiet.
[after a moment]
Jackie Teller: Danny... Danny... I wish you hadn't come down here.
[leads him towards closet]
Jackie Teller: Get over there. Turn around. Come on, let's go. Turn around. Walk over there. Open the door. Open it.
[Danny does]
Jackie Teller: Get inside.
[Danny does]
Jackie Teller: Look at me. You're a good guy. I don't want to hurt you. But if you try to open that fucking door, I will do it. Understand?
Danny: [nods]
Jackie Teller: Stay in there and be quiet. Everything will be fine.
Nick Wells: After this no more jobs. This is the last one I'm doing. I'm quitting for good.
Max: Yeah? How many times have you told me that in twenty-fie years. I mean, I'm gonna believe that when the pigs eat my brother, right?
Jackie Teller: [amazed at complexity of the new safe] I've never seen anything like that! What do you have in mind?
Nick Wells: [Unfazed] I don't know, but if somebody built it, somebody can unbuild it.
Jackie Teller: So did you make it out?
Nick Wells: Fuck you.
Jackie Teller: In all the years you've been doing this, what's the biggest gamble you ever took? On job, the biggest long shot?
Nick Wells: I don't take long shots and I never have
Jackie Teller: I know you're careful, I'm careful too, that's not what I mean, when you were starting out you must've taken some "flyers" here and there, did something that was a little wild, I'm just curious
Nick Wells: You're smart, talented and you know a few things but talent means nothing in this game if you don't make the right choices, there's plenty of talented people that never see the light of day anymore, this whole thing takes discipline because it's one big long shot and if you don't have the discipline to stay away from the" flyers", the "gambles", or whatever else you want to call a stupid move, then one day you will go down it's inevitable
Steven's Mother: Steven, who are you talking to at this hour?
Steven: [covering the phone] I am having a civil fucking conversation with one of my friends, Mother!
Max: [to Jack] You're not smart enough to know where your dick is!
Steven: The guy comes into *my* world and calls *me* an asshole!
Steven's Mother: [calling from upstairs] Steven, want some lunch?
Steven: [throwing an empty soda can at the stairs] I'm on the phone, bitch!
Max: My God! Let me get a look at you. You know, you look like shit. What's your secret?
Nick: If you want me to do this, you gotta pay me what's right. It's gotta be that way.
Max: [Indignant] I always pay you what's right.
Nick: You always think you do. I always know what you pay me. It's not always right.
Jackie Teller: You tried to get in a suckers share on a score that I set up, from the beginning!
