Beatrice Wood was an American artist and studio potter involved in the Avant Garde movement in the United States; she founded The Blind Man magazine in New York City with French artist Marcel Duchamp and writer Henri-Pierre Roché in 1916. She had earlier studied art and theater in Paris, and was working in New York as an actress. She later worked at sculpture and pottery. Wood was characterized as the "Mama of Dada.".. (wikipedia)

And I have exposed myself to art so that my work has something beyond just the usual potter.
I don't like to sell my finest pieces.
My life is full of mistakes. They're like pebbles that make a good road.
And I think maybe all women, if they just had a chance, would be romantic and believe in love and not sex. And men believe in sex and not love.
