Deval Laurdine Patrick is an American politician and civil rights lawyer who served as the 71st Governor of Massachusetts from 2007 to 2015. My grandparents and my mother were marvelous people, but they were not particularly demonstrative in their love. It was teachers who were affectionate and outwardly expressive about that, and encouraging in that way. And of course, you know, I got a break in 1970, when I was 14 years old, to go to Milton Academy in Massachusetts on scholarship.
We have drained common sense out of our politics. The more we focus on tactics and games, the more good people check out and give up.
I do identify with St. Patrick, not just in name. He drove the snakes out of Ireland. I intend to drive the snakes out of the State House.
