Doug Hoffman — American Politician

Douglas L. "Doug" Hoffman is an American businessman, accountant and former congressional candidate. He was the Conservative Party candidate for the U.S. House of Representatives in the 2009 special election for New York's 23rd congressional district. On November 3, 2009, he was defeated by Democratic candidate Bill Owens. Hoffman ran for the same seat in Congress in 2010, but lost the Republican primary and withdrew his candidacy. I'm not cool with ACORN or the working families' party, or people that vote like democrats and run on Republican lines.
The GOP leaders are upset with me, but the Republicans around the district are thanking me for stepping up to the plate and giving them a choice in this election of a real common sense conservative Reagan Republican.
I do not believe on giving amnesty.
As a lifelong Republican it's time for me and everybody else to reclaim the soul of the Republican Party.
I have never wanted to be a politician, and I never had the desire until recently.
