He is known for playing high school freshman Sam Weir on the NBC comedy-drama Freaks and Geeks and as FBI criminal profiler Dr. Lance Sweets on the series Bones, for which he was nominated for a 2014 PRISM Award. A lot of the time, as an actor, you don't have the freedom to change what your lines are, and they can often be very unnatural or difficult to portray in a real light.
Boys from my generation all love Jim Carrey! But you know, just being in his house with him and pitching jokes that he would act out, literally felt like the dreams that I had, so it was amazing.
