Paul Vaughn Butterfield was an American blues singer and harmonica player. After early training as a classical flutist, Butterfield developed an interest in blues harmonica. He explored the blues scene in his native Chicago, where he was able to meet Muddy Waters and other blues greats who provided encouragement and a chance to join in the jam sessions. A lot of people relate me to the blues but I don't think it's a hindrance at this point. I've been doing it long enough that I can do different things and be accepted.
They want to create rather than decimate.
I guess if you stay around long enough, they can't get rid of you.
